i have a 2003 F150 Ford truck, 4Wheel drive not completely Disengageing

In 2 wheel drive, it skips when going around a corner. Like one rear wheel is
still in 4 wheel drive. I shift to 4 wheel and it works fine but when I shift back it
seems like one wheel isn't shifting out. Also if i start out on a hill it will skip.It
has a selector switch on dash. What could cause this?

Change differential oil with posi type or install bottle of limited slip from parts store

The front diff may not be disengaging or the transfer case is still locked in.
