2004 f150 lariat v8 5.4

Asked by Shakieh Sep 13, 2017 at 12:49 PM about the 2004 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCrew

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently had my drive shaft rear u joints replaced and
welded. Today was driving on the eway and I hear a pop and
then the car started vibrating while I was driving. I pulled over
to see had my drive shaft fell again. Because this is what it
felt like when it fell before.  Thank goodness it hadn't fell  or
nothing is leaking.  I can't do any driving above 24 mph or the
vibration goes crazy... I read online about it could possibly be
a slipped yoke. And splines need to be replaced. Can anyone
elaborate on this.  Besides hearing that one pop sound and
the vibration. The car is running fine.
