Can someone help with my 02 malibu?

My 02 two weeks ago wouldnt start we
changed spark plugs and wires that didnt
help we then tried starter fluid and it
started. it runs mostly but when i start it i
have to press the gas kinda hard. If i dont it
wont start and i have to put starter fluid in
the intake ive had to put starter fluid in three
times since two weeks ago,fuel pump has
been rules out bc i hear the hum coming
frim the back when i turn the ignition. Does
anyone know of some things it could be.
Also i have a new starter, neutral safety
switch and alternator. Just giving as i uch
info as i can. Thank you in advance

did you replace the fuel filter and try a good fuel system cleaner and then check the linkage to for the throttle

Sometimes check engine light is on..when tuneup was done it was determined fuel filtet wasnt needed. Will try throttlw body and checking linkage
