Transmission swap from a 2004 ford expedition to a 04 f150

I have a 04 f150 with a 5.4 lt v8. I also have a 04
ford expedition with a 5.4 lt v8 . Can I used the
transmission from the 04 expedition.  And put it in
my f150 . Couse my transmission is slipping . And
the expedition is wrecked but the morter and trans
is brand new . Can I use it please tell me yes would
save me alot in money

That should be the same transmission in both vehicles if they're both 2 wheel drive. To be sure, I would check with a trusted transmission shop. If the bad one is a 4x4 I believe the good one would have to be also.

They should swap out, but I suggest you seek the advice of a person in the field. Newer transmissions are electronically controlled. You may have to have someone re-flash the control module.
