high beam on 2004 F150

Asked by Guru547M6 Dec 17, 2017 at 06:30 PM about the 2004 Ford F-150 XL

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

just spent checking high beam(HB) relay, it's OK. I have voltage from HB switch coming to and activating relay. 20 amp HB fuse is good. Removed and placed battery on the ground. used cables to ground battery to chassis and ran a hot wire to the right headlight plug on HB terminal and had terminal voltage where relay plugs in. Circuit from relay to lights seems to be good. Reinstalled all removed and had no HBeam lights. Help 940-256-0749

Do you have voltage to the socket where the bulb plugs in when light on?
