Im wanting to change the fuel door assembly on my 2004 F150. I have the new body style (they switched styles that year) and have access to the part, but its on the old body style. How do I find out if they are the same size?

When you say; fuel door assembly, are you speaking of the filler tube and door, or just the door? The door itself should be the same.
Well, not the actual fuel door. I'm going to keep mine so I do t have to worry about getting one painted. I'm talking about the housing that the fuel door connects to, and connects into the filler tube. It's just held on by 3 bolts that are around the gas cap.
Check on line for the part and insert both model types. I believe the older model is called Heritage. See if the part numbers are the same.
