Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've had this truck for 12 years and luv, luv luv it.  It drives good just won't back up.  What's wrong with it.  I'm a female and about to take it to the repair shop but I need to know what I should let them do or not.

You need a transmission sweetheart it's time for a cheap replacement or costly rebuild .. your reverse band is broken
