Firing at stop light idles rough

When I come to a stop it won’t stay

idling it dies or dies apon take off and

there’s a rattle from the engine I think

and bogs down it’s f250 460 7.5 with

288000 miles on it

Sounds like a bad knock sensor that's severely retarding the ignition timing. Do you have a valve tap? If so the knock sensor might be hearing the tap, sending a signal to the computer, and retarding the ignition timing. If the engine is lacking power and running hotter than normal too that would be my first suspect. Hope that helps! Jim
