Will a 1989 f250 engine 460, fit into a 1996 f250 (currently a 351 engine)?

The 460 was an option in your series truck so it should be possible to do the swap however the truck will no longer pass smog inspection with the old engine and your OBD2 ECU will not work with the old engine.
