Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have water on the floor on the passenger side -  a puddle of water.  There
was a screeching sound, thought it was the A/C.  Turned the A/C off but the
noise did not go away. Drove home, picked up my bags off the floor and they
were soaked.  I looked down and there was a puddle of water

Check the engine coolant to see if it is low. Another possibility is that the heater core is leaking. If you had noticed a sweet smell inside the vehicle, it would definitely be the heater core.

Thank you Lonetech...you were spot on. the drain tube for the a/c was clogged. Took about 6 minutes to "fix" the problem.
