Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2003 tracker 4 cyl  4wd front wheels not turning when engaged the front drive shaft is spinning. I know there is a pump or actuater thats suppose to engage the fr axles. Is it located in front ride side of engine has a line coming off it ? I seen earlier respose someone said they had a pump at the rear of there tracker by license plate I found what i think is pump in front passenger side and pulled the hose no pressure or vacuum coming out it would that be the problem? Anything else i need to check?

That should engage the automatic locking hubs. Find out why there is no vacuum and you'll have it fixed. Don
