Does 4wd low lock the rear differential on 2003 Chev Tracker ZR2?

Asked by RL Dec 17, 2018 at 03:59 PM about the 2003 Chevrolet Tracker ZR2 4-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In 4wd high only one tire on front axle and one tire on rear axle spin together.
Does locking in 4wd Low lock the rear differential up so both rear tires will
spin along with one of the front ones?

Owners manual is unclear, and Google has been little help on the topic.

I am pretty sure you have an open differential but you can add a locker.
