04 f250 super duty 5.4

Asked by Tyler Aug 24, 2020 at 11:06 PM about the 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty XLT Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

ok I've tried blue devil oil stop leak I've tried
resealing the oil pan gasket ive tried two bottles of
bars stop leak at same time seems like everything I
do it won't stop leaking oil its not a bad leak but I
need it to stop bc my exhaust meets right at back
of oil pan so it drips on it then the exhaust pipes
catch fire bc of heat and old oil tried replacing oil
and filter ended up making a homemade heat
sheild to keep off exhaust ive tried everything a
shop has said even tried the rear main seal but its
not the head gaskets leaking its out of the oil pan
or rear main seal i cant afford to pull the engine
and trans out just to replace the gasket on oil pan
bc on my year model youd have to pull the whole
cab off to remove motor so you could drop the oil
pan and obtain enough clearance to completely
change it all out so could someone please give me
some kind of idea of what I can do to make this
stop without killing my wallet?

Yep thats some great advice tho doesnt help anything bc I don't have the tools to lift the whole cab off nor do I have 2000 to pay for so.eone to do it so how about we try again

You have exhausted the mickey mouse methods. You could park it, sell it as is or keep buying oil.
