Extremely hot window motors

Asked by GuruTYMX6 Jun 17, 2018 at 03:24 AM about the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Both my front window motors are extremely
hot. There is a clicking noise in both doors .I
pulled the power box and the wire clip
forward the back of the box stopped the
clicking on both doors but motors stayed
hot. The passenger window works but the
drivers door stopped working . they are both
new after market motors and regulators.
The battery dies over night .can you guide
me to what would make motors very hot
