does itt start on third crank?? starter is ok if so & replace the starter relay.. if not starting still, . . usually the starter solenoid is worn by that age.. remove starter and replace solenoid. these are normal items to look at. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMzdYCA0s2w

I have the same problem my Trailblazer randomly it will not start. I have full power everything. The prom originally started I went to go get out of my car and the door was locked and I hit the power locks to unlock the door and nothing would work. Then when I try to start the vehicle all the lights came on and everything but it wouldn't crank. After messing with all of the relays and fuses for about an hour I realized, disconnect the battery for about 4 to 5 minutes hook it back up and sure enough it reset and the car started up. What is causing this issue I do not know. But now I carry an 8 millimeter wrench to disconnect the battery anytime it stopped starting. Disconnect the battery let it sit connect it back and then it starts up again. I'll let you know what I find out when I dive into it to figure out what the problem is. I think it's connected to the instrument cluster because the four gauges on the right code dad all the time even while I'm driving.

GuruSS, so far it is not the negative cable. I am working my way through all the chasis grounds to see. And goes through a no start. Then all the doors are dead no power windows no power locks. Then the dash gauges on the right side go out the tachometer and speedometer work and then the radio will go dead and then I'll just start working on its own. But when it does start working again B vent selector motor will start clicking in banging really hard.

I had issues with the eletronic throttle sensor. Pulled fuses 10 & 28. Truck won't start at all now. Won't even turn over. Now dash lights won't even come on. But don't think its the battery. Because stuff still works inside.

Are 2003 has been doing this for over a year. Three new starters new solenoid a new ignition system. It all started happening when we had the instrument panel replaced. We're pulling her hair out on this one!

I moved my trailblazer into the yard so my mother in laws car could be worked on. When I went to move it back into my drive way. I unlocked it with the remote. I got in turned the key lights came on in the instrument cluster the radio came on went to start it and nothing. The radio continues to play throughout me trying to turn it over. The battery is still full. But the starter isn’t even making a noise. What is going on with my truck. I love my trailblazer and just want it to work

My had power, battery and starter tested good, but the trailblazer, 2003, would not start or turn over. A mechanic friend told me to turn to start it in another gear, I tried neutral, then it started. The problem was with the transmission cable, or transmission rely.

mine is a 04 and it will randomly start with the key like every 10 trys. it will start by bridging the starter with a skrewdriver. i thing im going to instal a push button start. its having this issue between the key and the solonoid im thinking its a ignition module and there $100 so the old push button ive saved for years.just cost too much to get what i think is the problem. poke the starter with a pair of bbq tongs with the key on to make sure the starter is out that way you dont replace it for no reason
