1999 f350 7.3 powerstroke. stalls after 1 minute

I just disconnected batteries to clean them. i hooked them back up and i get a
check engine light and after 1 minute of running it stalls. i already replaced cam
position sensor but that did not work. It did have a alarm but was supposedly
the wires were cut at the shop cause they could not get it to turn off. any
suggestions?????

Having a check engine light says there is a fault code stored that you should scan. That would be a good place to start. Also, having defeated the alarm system might be triggering a theft response, making it shut down. If it is not the factory original alarm, I would have it removed as it will only cause problems.
