You probably have a dead battery or bad starter. Do you have headlights when they are turned on?

Yes headlights turn on, all electrical equipment works fine, i was told it was possibly the s wire between the ignition and starter because car wont crank or anything
It can still be the battery, even though the headlights and radio work. Try jumping it with another vehicle or jump pack. If it starts you know then it's the battery. If it doesn't start its probably the starter. Check all connections at the battery, starter and fusebox. Make sure they're clean and tight.
Thxs transamm, gettin back under it in the morning. I'll post my results
Sounds good! Hope it's something simple.
I replaced both the battery and the alternator but it still won't start. I don't know what to do anymore.

I'm having same problems, could it be motor starter relay?
EssentialWinter answered 6 years ago
Car has complete power all connection feel tight , new battery, terminals , and starter.....no noise under hood when key turned
I am having the same problem! Did anyone find the solution?
I have a 99 Ford Taurus, it wouldn't turn over. battery is good, starter is good (tested), bought a new ignition switch but still wouldn't start. i saw a comment in another video that said to push a little black button that is down by your feet right next to where you plug a code reader into, and it started right up. If anyone knows what the button is, please let me know. Thanks
It’s a fuel switch I have the same n my 08 . Car sat for over a month and it wasn’t the fuel pump then ... I hit a bump and the car seems to think u gt n a accident or some what and stops fuel
I'm having same problem got all power to my 95 Ford Taurus when turn key on all power comes on but engine will not make a sound can anybody tell me anything have new battery starter and a few other things on it
Might be the key. We had 3 keys to a 2003 Ford Taurus. Many times the car would not start and had it towed to a garage and it started every time. Eventually we accidentally discovered one of the keys did not work. Now 5 years later (with 2 keys) we are having the exact same problem. I'm not sure what would cause a key to "go bad" but it starts every time with one key and not the other.
2006 ford taurus lights go on ,ac,radio, board lights up but when i turn key just dead no sound at all got a jump still the same what could it be never had a problem
I'm not getting no fire from my starter
Here's my experience. I just bought some bling for my car from Amazon. One of the pieces was a rhinestone ring that I put around my ignition switch. I went out to start my car that night and it wouldn't start. My husband and I thought it had to be the starter because we had had the same trouble around Christmas, and, thinking it was the battery (which was under warranty), we took it back to Walmart. Walmart tested and charged the battery and said the battery was good. We took it to the Muffler Shoppe. They said the alternator was fine, too. Naturally when my car wouldn't start a couple of nights ago, we thought it must be the starter. The Muffler Shoppe just called and said the reason the car won't start is because of the bling ring I put on the ignition. They said that was also causing my driver door not to lock along with the other with either the interior lock or the keyfob lock. The guy at the Muffler Shoppe said they took the bling ring off and it started right up, and the door locks now, too. He even said the bling ring came up in the diagnostic test when they hooked it up to the computer. I've never heard of such a thing in all my life.
I forgot to mention, my car is a 2011 Ford Taurus. I'm still not convinced the bling ring is the culprit--since this happened before around Christmastime.
Try another key if you have it, the one key we were using apparently wasn't programmed!
I had all of the symptoms, and I said 'had' because while sitting in the drivers seat all I heard was --- nothing. Lights, instrument panels, lights... all worked as in all of the symptoms above but NO SOUND. Then I asked a friend to turn the key while I listened under the hood and I heard a slight sound coming from the relayr=i box (located to the top right behind the radiator). Removed the cover and place your finger on the top of Start Relay 1017 (square black relay middle right rear) and while someone turns the key see if you feel the relay energize. If you do feel something it means that voltage is being routed to the starter but the starter is not turning which most likely is caused by a stuck Bendix, which turns the starter motor. The starter on the 2003 SE is right down below the relay box, Try banging on the starter several times and then try the key again, Try this several times. If the engine still does not start then...?

Try banging what part of the starter which is the larger cylinder shaped part? R or L side? Middle?. The smaller cylinder is the solenoid.
2004 every new don't start
