Is there a over drive in the 1997 honda crv and if so how do I use it?

Most likely, yes, if there is a button for O/D on the shifter or near the shifter area, you can turn it off when in hilly areas, and turn it on when driving on the highway or flat areas to save gas mileage.

Your O/D is automatic... It is part of your AWD drive system it will turn on and off when it needs to ... I think! That is what I was told. Feel free to correct me anyone if you need too.

there should be a D3 button on the end of the shifter and that will prevent your trans from going higher than 3rd gear, other than that, there's manually selecting 1, 2nd, and then drive.
