what's causing vibration noise?

Asked by doodlebug61 Jul 03, 2015 at 05:00 AM about the 2001 Honda CR-V LX AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Why does my CRV make a vibrating noise between 35 to 45 mph? Doesn't do it all the time. Sometimes it will be softer sounding, not loud. Other times it is really loud. To me it sounds toward the back. Others say sounds like it's coming from the front. There is also an entrance to a store I go to that is a steep incline and it makes the vibrating sound when I drive up it obviously at a creeping speed. Where ever it's coming from the sound is always the same place.
