2006 Honda CR-V cargo area cutouts

Question type: General

Does anyone know what the cargo area, driver's side panel cutouts are for?  I
thought they might be for a medical kit, but the medical kit (part number 08865-
FAK-100) has velcro on the back, so that is not making sense.   Do I have the
wrong part number, or do the cutouts in the attached photo have a different
purpose?

From the pic, there is a 12V plug, so maybe just some space to add a camping light or appliance. I see the vent there, so nothing should be in front of it like a medical kit.

I think they are for whatever you'd like to stash there so your stuff won't slip around. I took it as another handy compartment by Honda, not something that was designed for an accessory.

Not 100% certain, but could be the cutouts / hole / slots are there for the XM radio installation. If at the purchase time, the buyer wanted xm radio they need to be there for this installation .
