No fire but motor turns over

I have an 05 Chevy Express 2500 and I have no fire
but the motor turns over. I can the fuel pump and I
also have pressure. When I removed the plug from
the ignition control driver I have no spark. It's been
roughly 9 years since I first replaced this and it was
cracked at that time. Is there another place I
should test before replacing this again? What
should the ohms be?

What size is this engine?

Oh my apologies. It is the 4.3l v6. No turbo
No spark, the most common problems are the Ignition Coil, Ignition Control Module which both of these can be tested at an auto parts store along with the crankshaft sensor. Check the cap and rotor and look for burn marks inside the distributor cap, and under neath the rotor in the center.

Awesome I will check those. Do you happen to know what the number of ohms the positive to ground should be? I know you said an auto part store but the vehicle can't be moved and I'm miles from any auto part store.

Ok I found the issue after testing the camshaft sensor, distributor and spark plugs wires. (Testing= swapping parts) The main issue was the ignition control modular. She is up and running, I appreciate all the help thanks guys and gals.

I have 1 chevy express 2000. 5 engine. V8. Cranks but dont start. No power come from the distributor. I change the cap and the module in the distributor. But still crank but dont start. Please i need help
