What would cause sputtering and hesitation 2001 chevy blazer?

Sounds to me like a spark issue plug wires could be burnt and arcking out on you or the cap and rotor are carboned up. If it has the coil packs it could be a bad coil pack

A great place to start would be to have the codes read. Any of what Ron said will cause the check engine light to flash.

Check also throttle position sensor working properly. This would also cause codes to be triggered.

18bottom 15 top 1/2 needed to break two under cab. Left body 1and1/2 access granted.Just behind core support left and right and the two just under the floor of ur feet will allow the clearance needed

I was reading another chevy question about access to top two transmission bolts and placed the answer hear looking like a total tard sorry guys ill pay closer atten in the future
