Just s10, sonoma, blazer and jimmy. 4x4 trans and 2wd trans won't interchange unless you swap the output shaft (not recommended unless you build transmissions). The camaro shared a bellhousing pattern with their earlier v6's but I think had the 200r and you should have the 700r, assuming your an automatic

Btw a 4.3 trans won't work, it has to be behind a 2.8, 3.1 or 3.4

No, 2wd and 4x4 don't interchange. The 94 is also electronically controlled and the 91 isnt

What can it be because my transmission, you put it on reverse and it shifts but the rear wheels lock but it try to reverse but it doesn't let it, then you put it on neutrol and they are still lock, you put it on drive and it shift but the wheels are lock and you step on the gas the wheels start spinning and it runs slow and then starts running good. What can that be if someone can help me

I'm assuming 2002 is supposed to be 2.2? A 2.2 trans won't fit a 4.3 period. You'll want a 96 and up 4l60e for your 98 sonoma. Must have been from another s10, sonoma, hombre, blazer, bravada or jimmy that has a 4.3 and was 4wd, or awd if it's a bravada.

Yes 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive will interchange well I can say I did take my 1994 Chevy S10 4 speed set the 4-speed out and put automatic in and the only thing I had to do was use the automatic driveshaft a course with a transmission cooler on it other than that they entertain just fine

Actually there is a few things you can do A 5.3L or 5.7L 1500 silverado engine will bolt right up to the transmission of the 4.3L S10 that's how people make those 9 second trucks at the track that's what I have in my truck now only bad part about this truck is it's too much power the truck can handle so I done messed up my frame I bent it right at the can and bed so I have to do some frame rebuilding or get another frame and reinforce it with some half inch angle iron and plates
