Asked by dnorris253 Mar 28, 2016 at 09:42 PM about the 1991 Chevrolet S-10 RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2.5L 4, VIN A. Engine bogs when I apply more throttle, no power. Already replaced exhaust manifold oxygen sensor and cleaned injector system. Plugs and wires are new.

no engine light...still suspect the Intake Air sensor. https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=1991+Chevrolet+S- 10+intake+air+sensor

plugged catalytic converter~ malfunctioning EGR valve...perhaps there is an oil problem...check the PCV elbow....should rattle~ else there will be oil burning too~ ahh the Throttle Position Sensor should be checked...may have "bald spots" on it~
