Did you ever figure this out? I replaced my distributor bc my engine was misfiring and it still wont start but it did help the sputtering and misfiring when attempting to crank
Hello out there I need some information. I've got a 1993 S10 Blazer with a 4.3 v6 CPI and I need and I found a 4.3 v6 engine not sure what year it is or what it came out of. It's a long block. So what do I need to do and look for to see if I am able to use this engine in my 1993 S10
Your not sure what year the engine is that you have thats not in the blazer currently?
The engine that's in my blazer is the original engine that's in there right now. And I found an engine 4.3 v6 it's a long block. But I'm not sure if I could use the engine there not like the small blocks that you could pull out of a car or truck and put it in a different car if that makes sense
Oh so your wanting to engine swap it with the engine but your not sure if it'll work? Alot of people end up putting 350's in their s10 blazers, i have a 94 cpi 4.3 and if i happened up on a good 350 for cheap id have a good pulling truck indeed and those are v8 and will fit in place of the current v6.
