No spark No fuel 93 s10

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

As the title says, I have a 1993 Chevy S10 with the 2.5L 4 cylinder (Iron Duke)
(4Tech) whatever. It's only got 70k on it, so I'd like to get it up and running -
and keep it that way for a long time if possible.
I was driving down the road yesterday and the engine turned off - its like
nothing happened - it just stopped and I was coasting. I pulled off - tried
restarting but no dice. So I called for my roadside assistance and end up
getting it towed home.
Any clue as to how this might have happened, or what might be wrong?
I turn the key and it just cranks but never fully turns over and fires up.

Checked so far:
Battery - replaced with brand new Duralast Gold 75dlg
Distributor Module replaced
Ignition coil replaced
Checked all fuses - all good
Fuel pump is working - can hear it
Fuel filter is not clogged
EGR valve has been cleaned

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I'm getting code 12. I'm also gonna replace the pick-up coil just to do it - only $15, so no loss trying.

Pick up coil was the issue. Problem fixed = truck running. :)
