Car won't start

Asked by Bboytictoc93 Jan 27, 2018 at 08:25 AM about the 2001 Chevrolet Blazer LT 4-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Woke up this morning & my truck started for
2 minutes & then it died out. So I sprayed
starting fluid & it almost wanted to start but
then it died out.  I did this 3-4 more times &
it kept doing the same thing. It would start &
then chug a little bit & die out. I just changed
the distributor cap and rotor, ignition coil,
battery cable connectors, & had a oil change
2 weeks ago. So I don't know what to do. I
don't know much about cars.

Ya the engine light is on & it starts to blink when I reach 60MPH. I'm good on all my fluids & my battery is fairly new (1yr), it ran fine yesterday but I just don't have the money to get it fixed right now. I have a fuel filter but I had a hard time getting the old one off. So it's still on there. Plus I don't know what I'm doing.
