Might have to drop tank and see if the little filter is on or maybe lose line in tank or junk new pump.

This is the second pump we got one was 30 psi n the W engine requires a 45 psi pump. So went back and got the right one for the truck. We dropped the tank pry 4 or 5 times and rechecked out work n only thing I can think of is it needs a new fsu unit, but what makes me think it doesn't is I drove the truck to the destination about 5 miles away where we could work on it and the truck ran fine with the same fsu in it. We dropped tank and checked screen filter n everything is connected proper. Still not even getting gas pressure or gas movement threw the main gas line...

fuel pup relay is bad it controls the pump from start position to run position of your ignition switch basically it starts the pump running before you start the engine and afterwards it runs the pump off of a engine sensor not direct power

Sometimes the aftermarket pumps come with a new wiring pigtail. To save time sometimes people don't use it because the old wiring will hook right up to the new pump but the new pigtail reverses the pos..neg for the new pump. The new pump does come on but runs backwards. Troubleshooting is a nightmare because it sounds like the pump is working but it is trying to suck fuel out of the line not pump it to the injectors. Took me an entire afternoon to find this out, i bought a non running truck the kid said he put a new pump in it but it still wouldn't start, I bought a new pump...hey new pigtail in the box! installed it and fire right up.
