ABS Brake light intermittently comes on

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I just bought a 2001 Trail Blazer and it has 86,000 miles. The ABS brake light intermittently comes on. I shut the engine off and start it again and the dash light doesn't come on. I test drove a 1995 Chevy Blazer before I bought mine and it had an intermittent brake light too. Any thoughts?

Lots of problems with front hub bearings that the abs speed sensor tone ring is part of. Stop by Autozone and they can pull the codes for free. Repost once you have the code(s) and we can narrow down the problem for you.
i would say that one or more of your wheel hub is not properly aligning with the abs sensor that or your brake Fluid level is low !!
Thanks guys, I took it back to the dealer to fix. Fixing this intermittent ABS/Brake light was part of the deal when I bought it. They think it's a sensor as well.
Well the Toyota dealer said they would have to take it to a GM dealer... I could see where this was going. lol Iv'e learned more on the internet then from any dealer and probably saved myself $1,000 too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFXUfagp5RI
On my 2002 Blazer I had a seized floating pin on rear caliper. I replaced the bracket with new pins problem solved. I replaced all the rotors and pad on all 4 wheels first that is when I found the frozen pin of course last wheel assembly I did.
