Hi! I own a 95 Chevy s10. Just changed plugs and wires. As well as distributor cap. At first I accidentally broke what looks like a sensor coming from a adapter bolt on the right side of the engine.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Now the check engine light comes on after
it warms up. Everything is in firing order.
Just wondering what that sensor is and if
its expensive. It is a clipon sensor. There
are two of them its the blue clip on sensor
towards the bottom near the exhaust
manifold. Stupid of me for trying to save a
little money.

Have your codes read for the check engine light. This will help lead you to your solution. Is your temp gauge working correctly? Might be the block temp sensor but I not that familiar with your vehicles set up.

the knock sensor is on the driver side head near the exhasut manifold. It clips on had only has one wire in the center of the connector. Is it that one? I think it is blue
