when i hit the gas on my s10 it will rattle real bad like marbles in the engine, do you know what that might be?

it kind of sounds like the exhaust is loose but its not. it just sounds like something is loose but ive gone through about the whole thing and i can not find anything loose.

the marble rattling sound is probably your catalytic converter in your exhaust system. Even if the pipes are tight. With the exhaust system cooled off, hit the converter with the side of your fist a few times. You will here a rattle. There is a ceramic filter in there that is broken. You will need to replace it $300-500.00
