I need the side panels for the extended cab on my 1996 Chevy S-10. Where can I find them?

Asked by Terri Apr 08, 2007 at 05:58 PM about the 1996 Chevrolet S-10 LS Extended Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Rust has taken the best portion of the lower part of both sides of the panels on the extended cab portion of my 1996 Chevy S-10.  A person who looked at it thought I should try to replace the panels instead of having body work done.  Where can I find just the right and left panels?  Thanks.

Dear Terri-- I have found that the best place for parts like those you need for your 1996 Chevrolet S-10 is a local junkyard. Your local junkyard might have the part, but most are nowadays hooked up into a nationwide network. They should be able to find your parts somnewhere. For example, I have used www.junkyarddog.com with some success. Good luck from Bovan.
