When was the last time you changed ignition wires? They degrade over time. http://www.ehow.com/how_7592234_test-ignition-wires.html

changed wires and plugs, cap and rotor 6 months ago. coil yesterday. looking into the possibility of a malfunctioning icm (have not found out how to test it yet) or an ecm problem. The fouling is a hard white crusting that has to be sanded off.
