Question type: General

96 S10 Blazer 4.3, engine shuts down when speed reaches 85 mph.
Interstate highway high gear only 2,700 rpms.  Is this normal, how can I fix or
change it.

No light. GM service manager just told me that it is normal. I’m surprised that others haven’t complained, the car is 22 years old, surely others drive more than 85 mph on occasions.
