Could it be coil pack module/plate?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Cranks up fine. begins to spit and sputter when time to shift gears. have changed coil packs 3 times and has cleared up each time but returns.  the last change did not change. replaced plugs, plug wires. better not gone popped code & replaced o2sensor. much better but not gone. when it happens if put foot in it, it clears up and takes off. suggestions please.
