voltage problems when temp is below 32 degree's

Voltage indicator shows 10 volts when it is below 32 degree and then within 10-15 min the car battery will go dead and the engine will stop, anything above 32 degree  it reads14.9 volts with no problems. I've had the battery check witch is fine (3 yrs old) and the alternator (4 yrs old) but had it check and it show it is running proper also at a lost!

Sound,s like the voltage regulator is playing trick,s with you,it is built into the alternator,and when cold may not be working,once warm, will,The only way to check the alternator is when it doe,s this,voltage regulator,will work then not.I know you had it checked,but not when it was not working,replace alternator.

The alternator went out and had it rebuilt. It was doing that before and is doing it now. Thanks
