Proportioning valve

2000 S-10 proportioning valve is leaking through the plastic cap on the end.
Until replacement is installed, is there a danger of loosing brake system pressure?

When something is leaking there is always that possibly that the leak can get worse. To answer your question yes it is danger of losing brake pressure but also it may go another week or more or it may just go out in the next few minutes that is something nobody knows.
