Transmission

Asked by S10oldtimer Jun 17, 2019 at 02:57 AM about the 2000 Chevrolet S-10 4WD

Question type: General

I have a 2000 s10 4x4 with a manual transmission and the 4.3 engine. It feels like the syncros are gone on 2nd and 3rd when up shifting but no problem down shifting. Can you tell me which transmission it would have from the factory? There is also some gear noise and shifted slowly there is no real problem but it feels as if it doesn't want to go into gear. Clutch is new and seems to be working fine.
