Brake lights turn signal trailer lights

Asked by Lulu Apr 16, 2023 at 11:11 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet S-10 LS RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Brakes don't work or turn signal but park lights do work.
Checked fuses in cab and under hood found none to be
broke or burnt. The cab brake light does work. Front turn
signals do work as well.

I have two blue capped connecters at rear of truck under
bed about five inches or less from top and one long black
capped one in center of frame.

Which one is my trailer light connection?

A multi tester is useful for solving electrical problems , Brake and directional may share a bulb and brake light may run through the directional switch if that's the case , runners are separate
