4x4 not working

Asked by Christofer Apr 10, 2018 at 07:48 AM about the 2002 Chevrolet S-10 LS Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The other day I noticed that the panel and for the
dash for the radios that was popped off a little bit
so I pulled a little bit and pushed it back in just to
see what was back in there and then yesterday I
realize that the 4 x 4 light wasn’t on to high so I
made me think a little bit that on Friday whenever I
pull the panel allowed a little bit I could’ve messed
with the wiring I guess and I just don’t know what
exactly is wrong with it please help

You may have disconnected/loosen the wire that goes to the light indicator. Try to pull the plastic cove, it is attached with plastic clips, so be very careful not to brake them, and check to see if all wires are properly attached. If it becomes difficult for you to remove the plastic cover, let some one else with knowledge do it.
