Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced my engine in 94 S10 Blazer with a
long block 4.3 . It has a miss I can't find. I
have changed the plugs , wires , cap and
rotor , cleaned injectors and ports . Still
misses . I have an exhaust leak at the
bottom side if the manifold don't know if
that has any effect on it

The exhaust manifold leak could be upsetting the reading that the oxygen sensor is getting. This will happen because fresh air is getting pulled into the exhaust stream and past the oxygen sensor from the leak at the exhaust manifold. Is your check engine light or service engine soon light on with a lean exhaust trouble code? If so that's why. Hope that helps! Jim

I just got a scanner last night . The only code I get is a 12 which of course is no faults . I will fix the exhaust leak and see what that does. Thanks
