No heat

Asked by confusedmommy Jan 07, 2016 at 07:45 PM about the 2001 Chevrolet Impala LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Chevy impala ls and my blower
motor decides when I have heat, i replaced the
blower motor no dice. I have no fans, no heat,
and no money. I heard if it was the resisters that
the fan would work on high. I don't know what to
do next, i have two babies and don't want to
waste time and money i don't have. Also i have
noticed that the inside computer that tells you
how cold or how much gas you have, isn't coming
on when the car is started. Does anyone have a
clue

So, you replaced the fan motor and it still doesn't blow air, or is it cold air?

I replaced the motor and the resister and the fans still won't come on. Replaced thermostat two months ago along with a rotten heater core. I don't know what gives.
