why do the coils on my 2001 chevy malibu keep shorting out

I have a 2001 Chevy Malibu that i recently bought and am trying to get up and
running. I have replaced all gaskets down to the heads and we have also
replaced the spark plug wires. We have replaced the coil packs (all 3) and the
cam shaft sensor and the crank sensor, but the coils keep shorting out or
burning up.

make sure they are connected correctly with the appropriate dilectric grease applied. Not my area of expertise but maybe someone else can chime in as well
