1995 Ram 1500.   Will a 1998 Ram 1500 tranny
work in my truck

It's difficult to say. The A518 and 46 thru 48RE have differences unique to the application. Clutches, servo sizes for different engines, and the electrical is not usually compatible. Mopar transmissions will be very specific to the original application.

There will be ECU issues. The 95 is OBD1 and the 98 is OBD2. I recommend getting an older transmission that is OBD1.

Will the transmiss fit in a 1999 Dodge ram pickup from a2003 Dodge ram both 1500 series 4 will drive both of them??
