96 dodge ram no fuel

I have a 96 dodge ram with the 318..5.2. It Sat
down for a year or so I went to crank it an it ran for
about 20 secs or so then shut off. When I turned it
back own I do not here the fuel pump cut on. I
didn't think it was the pump but I pulled it an
replaced the whole unit. Sending unit and pump.
An I still have the same problem. It's not cutting on
an yes..i checked the fuse an it's fine but for shots
an giggles I replaced that to but to no luck. What
can be the problem?

so it does crank ? are you always using the same key ? is the injector working ? does the fuel pump have a good ground ?does it get spark ? if it sat for a year mice can move in and pick their teeth with wire insulation , start with the basics

Yes...everything is working but fuel. It's not getting any. It ran when I started it but shut off an since the fuel pump is not cutting on. If mice started crewing it would it have started the first time?

i parked my 3500 for ten year had somewhat the same problem could not here pump cut out take all you fuses out and spray electronic cleaner on all the fuse block let dry but befor you do find your horn fuse honk the horn till t stop with the fuse pulled now test each fuse in that slot ths makes sure your fuse are working. now yur fuse block let dry and repeat now drop your take two 5/8 nuts holds it on check your connects go under hood remove cover from shrader valve cover depress valve you shouldeither have fuel or not either way depress shrader valve tll nothing comes out to include air once empty cycle your key to nothree or four times not cranking but just on each time you should hear relay click out after three or four time g back to shrader valve depress do you have fuel it you do try to start if not remove fuel line connect place temp fuel line on on regulator and n a soda bottle cycle key three or four times if you get fuel check injector circuit if no fuel disconnect power connector on vehicle side put multimeter on red and blck circuit top left and bottom right on six pin female connector watch needle when you cycle key iif you get 12 volts you pump is bad or a bad connection to th pump worked for me pump was bad it was replaced three time before i got a good pump no joke three new pumps had problems,,
