front rear,on top of housing,there is a box,was told,when you put in four wheel,in cab ,this box is what that shifter goes to ,it's leaking ,don't know what it's called 96 dodge 1500

I'm finding a vacuum switch...but no hydraulics...possibly some zealot with a clicky oiler visited there~ does it work okay in 4wd?

yes ,works ,leaking bad,pumpkin on driver side,on housing ontop of axle,there is a wire,plugged in, and a hose ,looks like a gas line ,not a gas line but looks.4 bolts ,gasket bad ,tried to explain to parts place ,no idea.

The wires you are seeing is the speed sensor and the line is a rubber is breatheathe line so it can vent. The seal on your axle bad?

no ,thanks anyway,this box is on rear housing, it's leaking on bottom of this box,soon as i figure out what it's called i'll get one.
