What is causing the clutch on my 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 5 speed to not work?

Hello, I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 5 speed. The truck will not go into any gear
if i start it in neutral. If i shut it off, It will go into the gears but once in gear and i try to
start it, The truck starts hopping and moving even with the clutch depressed? It seems
as if the clutch is not working. I have checked the fluid level in the clutch master
cylinder and it is full. There are no signs of a leak around the master on the outside of
the firewall nor on the inside under the dash. I have looked at the slave cylinder and i
do not see any signs of a leak their neither?? Can anyone help in identifying what the
issue may be? Thanks in advance

A clutch master cylinder is just like a brake master cylinder no sign of anything wrong and not leaking enough fluid from the rear of master cylinder to tell you that it is the problem until you remove and take a closer look and you will see that sometimes the fluid is in the rubber seal that covers the piston seal.
There is nothing leaking and a slight noise is coming from the slave cylinder or the clutch itself when i depress the pedal... could this be the throwout bearing? could this be a bad clutch even though it moves when started in gear? thanks for the info
does this sound like a master cylinder? have you seen this issue before? it will start in neutral but will not go into any gear and if i try to start it in gear it will hop forward...

Did you not read my first answer about the clutch master cylinder could be leaking and you not know it because it is leaking very slow effecting the seals and not pushing the clutch in all the way or fluid is in the rubber seal that covers the piston. The only way to truly tell is remove clutch master cylinder and remove boot and see if any fluid is in it.

Most you remove like you would a brake master cylinder remove the two nuts that hold it on but you may have the one that you have to remove from under the dash where the clutch shaft connects to it either way there are two nuts or bolts that have to be removed.
