Have you changed the blinker relay?
yes we have. and we still dont know what it is
it doesnt even show my arrows on the dash. thats the only way we knew for sure that they wernt working.
Do you have fire to any of the blinkers, meaning when you turn the blinker on does it come on and not blink or don
I think your issue is in the wiring harness going to your blinker switch, there is one power wire that supply,s the power to the switch, you need to check it for fire, that will be your issue, the power wire running it is not getting juice.
Some basic wire tracing with a volt meter is due I think. Check every single connection and look for a good ground and power.
I agree, that leaves the power supply to switch or the multi-function stalk it's self
fordnut i replaced that . and checked the relay. boyfriend said that he traced all the wires and nothing is unconnected. cant find my voltage tester tho
Aren't electrical problems fun?
ha i wish. ive been driving like this for months now it feels like and im about to take a baseball bat to it lol. if only it wasnt the only vehicle
Miai, fordnut mean to check the fire wire to the switch,he posted the picture for looks.
Really, FoR and miai . They can become frustrating to the point where you want to get out your box of hammers to work on them
I just check the wiring diagram to the switch, there are two power wires, one for head lights, the other for blinkers.
The one for the head lights is hot all ways, the one for blinker is controled by the igntion switch.
