I have a 1996 Dodge Ram . when its real cold out it wont go into 4x4. if i put in the garage with the heat on for an hour or so it goes into 4x4 fine.

Pull it in the garage and clean/lubricate the linkage on the transfer case.

Ok i will try that in the morning. Do you think the lubricant in the transfer case could have some water in it and that could possibly be making it freeze up also?
