1996 Dodge Ram 5.2 cranks no start

My 5.2 Dodge Ram did the plenum gasket and
truck ran perfect put ac and fan belt back on and
just cranks and crank will sputter but no start any
ideas ? Has spark and fuel heavy fuel smell

Kingzinn94: Check to be sure you have all of the spark plug wires firing order correct at the distributor and to each cylinder. My gut says that you don't. If it ran before you took things apart, then it's very likely it's something that you did, whether accidentally or intentionally. You may also want to remove all of the spark plugs & check to verify they all actually spark at the spark plug electrodes when cranking the engine. (Be sure to ground each of the plugs before cranking.) Check to be sure you plugged the Distributor Pick-up (Aka: Cam Sensor) back in. Check to be sure Crank Sensor is plugged in. Guessing they are both plugged in & working though, since you claim you have fuel & spark.
